BioMy boyfriend and I frequently go on trips where we watch rollerderby, check out local music, and eat at local restaurants. I welcome any suggestions. We have a blog here just for that where we both contribute: rachelmiketrips is the name if you'd like to add.
I'm a little weird. I say what I think. I'm mostly friends with guys in person. Online, I keep up with all my female friends who live all over the place. I think about things in ways most people don't. I'm constantly doodling on post-it notes and napkins. I'm sure these will be high dollar t-shirts one day if anyone saves them from the trash. I make up new silly songs to tunes we all know, about people and ordinary things. I drink sweet tea constantly. I'm allergic to random things like cloves and cucumbers. These two I most often unwittingly eat and get deathly ill from. I feel sorry for inanimate objects if I cut up scraps of paper or carry around an item in the store and don't buy it. I don't like to waste. I like watching TV on DVD and movies. I love animals, and own cats. I enjoy watching people in Karaoke bars. I like observing people. I am a better mingler now than I have been in the past. I like small group interaction. I like music and any video game that is musical. I like learning new things, going new places, and trying new restaurants. I love eating out, particularly in little hole in the wall places rather than chains. I also have a tendency to do really random things if left to my own devices. I love being outdoors. I don't like paying bills, mean people, parking tickets, being really cold, being really hot, being late, paying taxes, rain when I'm wearing sandals, mortgage interest, and people who cancel plans at the last minute. I happily collect anything Hello Kitty related. I am trying to pursue an MPA (Master of Public Administration) while I work at a university.
